Look! It’s Adam Levine! If he were old and fat. The weirdest competitive reality show this summer could be ABC’s Sing Your Face Off, where D list celebrities undergo vocal training and physical transformation to take on the identity of an A list performer.
In this clip, Skid Row frontman, Sebastian Bach “transforms” (if you want to call it that) into The Voice coach and Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine. It’s….uhm…interesting.
Other contestants include actor Jon Lovitz, basketball star Landry Fields, singer China Ann McClain (who?) and actor/TV personality Lisa Rinna. The “contestants” will be judged by a panel that includes actor John Barrowman (Arrow, Torchwood), pop singer Debbie Gibson, and comedian Darrell Hammond (Saturday Night Live). Sounds like a nightmare! Or, a hilarious trainwreck!
Six episodes, air on Saturday nights, beginning May 31 at 9/8c. A Saturday night slot in the summer? Why is ABC even bothering?
