Scotty McCreery - Garner Homecoming

Scotty’s concert has started. He’s sings: “Gone”, “The River”, “Letters from Home”, Josh Turner joins Scotty on stage to sing “Baby Lock them Doors” and “Long Black Train”. “Thanks for singing my song, ” says Josh. Scotty replies, “Thank you for singing it first!” Josh Turner was so sweet! Unbelievably cool and gracious, that man is. Scotty finishes his set with Jamey Johnson’s “In Color”

Later, after throwing out a pitch at Doak Field and participating in an impromptu slip ‘n’ slide with the baseball team, Scotty headed off to the Senior prom at Garner High!

According to the Charlotte Observer, an 25, 000 to 30, 000 people filled the park for his concert.

UPDATE: NBC17 is reporting that Josh Turner is surprising the crowd before Scotty hits the stage. Scotty’s schedule has him performing with a “surprise guest” at 3 pm…
