How many frigging jobs can a human possibly have at one time? The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the search for Regis Philbin’s replacement as co-host of Live with Regis and Kelly has been narrowed. One of the candidates is…RYAN SEACREST!
Also in the running are Bravo executive Andy Cohen and TV host, actor and husband of co-host Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos.
To be honest, if Regis and Kelly became Ryan and Kelly, i would consider Ryan Seacrest Officially Overexposed. Somehow, I can’t imagine Ryan taking on yet another gig, unless he figures out a way to clone himself.
Kelly hubby, Mark Consuelos is probably a good bet. But the ultimate choice could very well come out of left field.
A spokeswoman for Disney-ABC declined to comment on the WSJ report, saying that because Regis isn’t expected to leave the show until November, “it’s ridiculous at this point to be speculating about who will replace him.”
