Nielsen, the company that measures audiences for television and music, to name two, has released their year end Top 10 lists. Check it out HERE.
American Idol is still the most watched regularly scheduled show, but the Super Bowl and the Summer Olympics combined to knock it off the Top 10 Single Telecast list. It’s #2 on Programs with Product Placement activity–I’m surprised it’s not #1, its hard to imagine a program could shill products more aggressively than Idol.
Jordin Sparks’ hit featuring Chris Brown, “No Air” makes the music lists–#8 most downloaded song, and #8 most listened to song on the radio, with 2, 170, 133, 000 total listeners. Carrie Underwood’s Carnival Ride is #9 on the Top 10 Albums list.
