MTV Video Music Awards 2011 – Winner’s List & Video

I can’t call this a live blog, because Hurricane Irene, even in her weakened state, managed to knock out my power today and I have NO idea when I’m getting it back.

I’ll keep track of the winners and post them here, plus any interesting video I can find. Really bummed I’m missing Jim Cantiello on the pre-show…

Tonight’s performers Lady Gaga, Jay-Z and Kanye, Adele, Chris Brown and Young the Giant, with tributes to Britney Spears and the late Amy Winehouse.

Beyonce announced her pregnancy at the VMAs. Yeah, that’s where I’d do it if I had the chance! NOT.

Lady Gaga presented the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award to Britney Spears. She said, “I used to hang posers of her on my wall and touch myself when I was laying in bed.” Uhm.

Justin Beiber gave a big Jesus speech when he accepted his award. Wait…am I watching the CMAs? Whoops. No.

Tony Bennett shared the video of him recording with Amy WinehouseBruno Mars payed tribute to the late singer.
