Monday Morning Mediabase Update: Oct 17-23

Casey James leads off our Mediabase milestones this week. His debut single, “Let’s Don’t Call it a Night”, off of his debut album isn’t calling it a day. It has achieved top 40 on Country. Casey James is the third place finisher from Season 9.

The fourth place finisher from Season 5 also has racked up a new milestone. The lead-off single for his third album has been charting for a while on HAC and AC (and his twin single is charting on Mainstream Rock), but “Crawling Back To You” appeared in the top 50 of the Pop format for the first time this week.

Our final milestone this week is from Season 7 winner, David Cook. His second single off his second album was recently announced and it has already made it to top 50 on HAC. “Fade Into Me” was used as the music for a performance on SYTYCD and the audience had a very positive reaction to the song.

Lauren and Kellie went recurrent on the Country chart. There were a lot of recurrents on that chart this week.
