Monday Morning Mediabase Update: Mar 17-23

Four milestones this week on this Monday – 3 from Idol and one from X-Factor UK

Phillip Phillips achieves two more milestones this week. The Idol Season 11 winner’s debut single from his second album debuts on the AC chart in the top 40. “Raging Fire” also moves into the top 20 on HAC. The single is charting in three formats.

Mandisa may have finished 9th in Season 5 of Idol, but that didn’t stop her from generating a very solid career. Just as her debut single from her latest album finally goes recurrent (“Overcomer” dominated the CAC chart for months), her follow-up single explodes onto the chart. “Back to You” debuts in the top 40.

X-Factor UK winners Little Mix are mixing it up on the US charts. These weekly charters on the BB Social chart move “Move” into the top 40 on Pop.

Finally, we welcome American Junior’s Lucy Hale back into the top 50 on Country (the song has been bouncing in and out of the top 50 for a while now).
