Monday Morning Mediabase Update: Jul 25-31

Idol’s only Oscar winner is the only one reaching a milestone this week. Jennifer Hudson’s second single off of her second album has reached top 15 on UAC. “No One Gonna Love You” is charting in two formats (top 25 in Urban and UAC) and she has another song in the top 40 on UAC.

This week, we also say goodbye to three of our Idols for now. Ruben was featured on a Keke Wyatt track that dropped off the UAC chart this week. Meanwhile, both Mandisa and Chris Sligh went recurrent on CAC. Mandisa announced that her single “Waiting for Tomorrow” will go for adds on August 15 and I’ve been thinking it was about time for a new single from her. “Stronger” peaked at number 1.
