Monday Morning Mediabase Update – Jan 23-29

There are 9 milestones achieved this week – 4 in a single format.

Zayn, from X-Factor UK and formerly from One Direction, achieves milestones on all three mainstream formats this week. His collaboration with Taylor Swift “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” from the “Fifty Shades of Darker” soundtrack went top 5 on Pop, top 10 on HAC and top 30 on AC.

Meanwhile, over on CAC, there are four milestones to report this week. Danny Gokey from Season 8 leads the charge with “Rise” moving into the top 5. Lauren Daigle who auditioned for Idol is top 15 this week with “Come Alive Dry Bones”. Jasmine Murray also from Season 8 has “Fearless” entering the top 30 and Colton Dixon from Season 11 moves into the top 40 with “All That Matters”. If you string all five songs together you get “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever, so Rise and Come Alive Dry Bones, being Fearless is All That Matters”. Just Sayin’.

Going top 40 this week are two Idol winners. Fantasia’s “When I Met You” achieves the milestone on UAC while Kelly Clarkson’s “It’s Quiet Uptown” does the same on AC.
