Four Milestones to report mid-way through April.
Harry Styles had double milestones last week and repeated this week. The former X-Factor contestant and member of One Direction is on a tear with his debut single. “Sign of the Times” went top 20 in Pop (one spot away from top 15) within 10 days of release. The song also went top 30 on HAC. Harry was the musical guest on SNL this week and is set to appear in a Christopher Nolan movie later this year.
Also appearing on our Milestone countdown for a second week is James Arthur from the X-Factor UK franchise. He is working his American debut single “Say You Won’t let Go” the song is now top 5 on HAC.
Our final milestone is from Idol’s Carrie Underwood. Her duet with Keith Urban, “The Fighter” goes top 15 on Country this week. The single also returned to the top 50 on HAC.
La’Porsha Renae returns her “Good Woman” to tpp 10 on UAC.
Pentatonix earns their 7th top 10 album on the BB 200 by debuting their latest album at 4th. The Chainsmkaers dethrone Drake from the top of the chart.
