Kelly Clarkson returns to the stage for the first time since giving birth to daughter River Rose in June. The American Idol winner, joined Trisha Yearwood onstage in Chicago to perform their country duet “Prizefighter.”
Trisha is appearing with her husband, Garth Brooks on his massive world comeback tour. The duo perform together and apart on stage, and normally, Garth would be Trisha’s duet partner on the song. But as you can see, he had to step aside to make way for Kelly. He didn’t seem to mind at all.
Additionally, fellow Idol winner, Carrie Underwood was in the audience! The singer is headlining her own concert tomorrow night at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park.
Check out Kelly and Trisha’s terrific performance below. Kelly looks great, doesn’t she?
ETA: Kelly tweeted an adorable photo of River Rose after her performance!
