I was poking around You Tube, looking for decent quality videos of Kelly Clarkson’s Sugar Bowl performance from last night’s pre-game concert and came up with something entirely different!
Kelly appeared in a Christmas special in Germany, Ich Schenk Dir Deinen Star. She sang a beautiful acoustic version of “The Sun Will Rise” to honor and inspire a cancer survivor sitting in the audience.
“The Sun Will Rise” is a bonus track on Kelly’s latest album, Stronger. The recorded track also features Kara DioGuardi on vocals.
I snarked a ton when I heard the rumors about a Kara DioGuardi duet on Stronger. But wouldn’t you know? It’s one of my favorite songs on the album.
If decent-quality videos of Kelly’s Sugar Bowl appearances surface, I’ll post those too.
