How did the opportunity come about? DC: I’ve always been open to the creative process and actually went to college on a theater scholarship around the same time the band started picking up. I love the story and the cast is incredible from top to bottom. To be involved in a show with Cyndi Lauper’s name attached to it was also very exciting and the idea of accepting different walks of life is an important story to tell. We had circled each other a few years ago about doing it but the schedules didn’t work out.
