Next to fill Paula Abdul’s seat? Joe Jonas, set to guest judge the Dallas auditions, and maybe “American Idol” Season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson, who is still negotiating:
Sources tell Showtracker that the pair are nearing a deal to guest judge an audition round of the competition. They follow Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Shania Twain and the still-unscheduled Katy Perry.
Joe Jonas is strictly to pull in the young demographic. I’ll bet TPTB don’t even care if he’s any good.
