On the heels of his turn as Carlos in the Broadway musical Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Justin Guarini tells Broadway World that he will be returning to the Great White Way when he joins the cast of Green Day’s Tony Award winning musical, American Idiot in March.
Justin spilled the beans last night after last night’s Drama League Gala. This year the show highlighted performances from Justin’s Verge co-star, the legendary Patti LuPone. The 1st season American Idol runner-upi did not reveal which role he would be playing.

“Justin blew us away in his audition and I am thrilled to have him join the company of American Idiot, ” says director and co-book writer Michael Mayer.
