Adam Lambert Compliments Glee Newbie Alex Newell – Alex Newell, a runner up on the first season of The Glee Project, is reprising his role as transgendered teen, Wade/Unique on Glee. Adam Lambert noticed and tweeted Alex a compliment, “@ANew92 Diva I’m blown away by u on Glee! You are KILLIN it Mary!” A star-struck Alex answered, “@adamlambert stop stop stop hold the phone! I live for you!! And thank you soo much!!!” Adam replied, “@ANew92 are you kidding!? You slayed that Britney song!” (Alex sang “Womanizer” in this week’s big Britney episode.) An obviously thrilled Alex tweeted back, “@adamlambert stop it!! I’m totally fangirling it out in my apartment right now!! Thank you soo much you have no idea how much it means!!”

Dish Network taps ‘Idol’ finalist Skylar Laine for national broadband kickoff – The company will officially unveil the service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cowboy Maloney’s Electric City Superstores’ north Jackson location along I-55. Sales of equipment needed to access the service will start that day at all Cowboy Maloney’s locations. The broadband service itself will be rolled out nationally Oct. 1. Adam Lambert talks about this Tuesday’s benefit for Marylanders for Marriage Equality at the 9:30 Club – “I kind of shy away from political events and issues — not because I don’t have my own opinions, but because I find it to be a very sensitive thing,” says Adam Lambert. “And quite frankly, I’m a little bit frustrated with politics in this country. From somebody who hasn’t gotten super involved, it seems like a lot of mudslinging and B.S. to me.” Yet Lambert agreed without reservation to be the headliner at a fundraiser concert benefiting Marylanders for Marriage Equality this Tuesday, Sept. 25, at D.C.’s legendary 9:30 Club. ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ winners Chehon and Eliana talk about the win – Chehon Wespi-Tschopp and Eliana Girard were announced as the winners of “So You Think You Can Dance” last night — and no one seemed more surprised about this than Chehon and Eliana themselves. The two classically trained ballet dancers were not early favorites. Chehon seemed to be permanently stuck in the shadow of fan favorite Cyrus Spencer, the street dancer with no professional training who was never in the bottom three, while Eliana only seemed able to step into the spotlight once she was unpaired from Cyrus and later danced with all star Alex Wong. Justin Gaston Weds Melissa Ordway – First Wedding Pictures! – Justin Gaston and Melissa Ordway have tied the knot! The 24-year-old singer-songwriter and the 29-year-old actress married in a private ceremony on Saturday (September 22) in Atlanta, Georgia.
