Adam Levine Goes Back to the ‘70s With New Musical TV Series – Robin Hood is headed for TV. And if all goes as planned, radio and the stage, too. Boardwalk Entertainment Group has inked a deal at NBC to develop Robin Hood & Marian, as well as a project about the music business in the 1970s. Both will be 10-hour event series. The former is expected to include 60 original songs, while the latter, which counts Adam Levine as a producer through his 222 Productions, will feature contemporary stars rerecording ’70s classics. Songwriters Evan “Kidd” Bogart and Emanuel “Eman” Kiriakou (Beyoncé, Rihanna, Demi Lovato) will collaborate on the music and RCA Records will serve as label partner. – Read more at Billboard

Chris Daughtry lightens it up with latest work – “After making a couple of albums, you can’t help but move in a different direction,” Daughtry says. “Hopefully, you grow, and I think we have with this album. I think you can see my sense of humor on this one. It was a great experience writing these songs. My wife and children served as the muse behind many of the songs.” It’s a nice change in direction for Daughtry, who has certainly made his share of brooding post-grunge tracks. “Baptized” exercises a new set of muscles for Daughtry. – Read more at The Intell
