The center of activity before the live show begins is usually the green room, a credentialed-only VIP area walled off in the corridor next to the Idol stage. But not Wednesday night. That’s because right outside the VIP room you couldn’t help but bump into Idols everywhere you turned. Audio: Phillip Phillips kicks off first solo tour in Sioux Falls – The current outspoken “American Idol” judge never had a chance to critique season 11 winner Phillip Phillips, but any “Idol” fan would agree. She would have been batting her eyes indeed. Sioux Falls likely will be, too, when the aw-shucks Leesburg, Ga., gentleman kicks off his first solo college tour Tuesday with two shows at the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science. You never know what’s going to happen.
