Whatever happened to? Idol’s Paige Miles releasing first album soon

The one time she really felt in her element, covering Free’s “All Right Now, ” led notoriously tough judge Simon Cowell to call her the most talented voice in the competition.

She has a lot of hope that people will agree with that assessment come January when she plans on releasing her debut album. For that CD, she’s working with some of the best and hottest writers in Los Angeles — including Jukebox, who wrote Willow Smith’s hit “Whip My Hair, ” Great Scott, who wrote “Wall to Wall” for Chris Brown, and producer Micayle “Mack” McKinney, who was nominated for two Grammys for Ne-Yo’s “Year of the Gentleman.”

“I just have an amazing team of people to work with, ” Miles said. “The recording process can be really brutal. I’ve been practically living in the studio. But I’m making the music I always wanted to make.”

But he’s apparently not through with being an on-air personality.

King told “Early Show” co-anchor Erica Hill in an exclusive interview that he’s readying to team up with Ryan Seacrest.

He told Hill, “We’re in major talks with Ryan Seacrest, who runs now, pretty much, Clear Channel Radio. … I’d say that’s very — pretty close to fruition.”

SIMON Cowell’s new US TV show has clinched a £35million deal to plug Pepsi Cola.
