According to @JHudDaily, Jennifer Hudson will perform to honor Oprah Winfrey at the Kennedy Center Honors. The show is taping on December 5 in Washington DC and will air on CBS Dec. 28 at 9 pm.
Steven Tyler recently told a reporter he would be performing songs from the Beatles’ Abbey Road album at the Kennedy Center to honor Paul McCartney.

WISN’s Holiday Spectacular, ’12’s Season To Celebrate’ Showcases Milwaukee’s Holiday Traditions
MILWAUKEE — WISN 12 captures the spirit of the holidays with a one-hour, primetime spectacular on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. This is the ninth year for “12’s Season To Celebrate, ” which features some of the finest local musicians performing in dazzling and unique holiday settings across southeastern Wisconsin. The show will be co-hosted by WISN’s Kathy Mykleby and Toya Washington at Red Arrow Park in downtown Milwaukee.
Danny Gokey, former “American Idol” contestant and a Milwaukee native, headlines “12’s Season To Celebrate” with a performance of his new holiday release, “Tennessee Christmas.” Patrick Paolantonio chats with Gokey about his family, his favorite Christmas memories, and building a music career in Nashville.

More Disney Parade Deets
In addition to Debby Ryan, also scheduled to perform today is Glee starlet Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones) as reported by area resident Banks Lee who has checked in from the taping.
The Walt Disney World Resort also confirms the scheduled appearance of Mariah Carey as we first reported in early November as well as the replacement of hosts Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa by Ryan Seacrest. We also recently reported that ‘American Idol’ winner Lee DeWyze and ‘America’s Got Talent’ runner-up Jackie Evancho are also expected to perform.
The staged performances of the Magic Kingdom portion of the 2010 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade begin taping today with additional performances tomorrow with the actual parade portion taped on Saturday. The Disneyland portion of the parade featuring performances by Selena Gomez, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and ‘Dancing With The Stars’ pros Tony Dovolani, Chelsie Hightower, Kym Johnson and Louis Van Amstel with host Nick Cannon was taped last month.

Recording started today for the 2010 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade at the Magic Kingdom. Singers and actresses Debby Ryan (The Suite Life on Deck), above, and Amber Riley (Glee), below, performed. The canine, Santa Paws, from the new Disney holiday movie “The Search for Santa Paws” also made an appearance.
The tapings are to continue the next two days and possibly on Sunday. Expected to perform are Lee Dewyze (American Idol), Mariah Carey and Jackie Evancho (America’s Got Talent). Ryan Seacrest is hosting from the Magic Kingdom this year. The parade airs on Christmas Day on ABC.

‘Glee’ Star Lea Michele Celebrates Grammy Nominations
“That’s so cool!” star Lea Michele (Rachel) said of the kudos. But she almost missed the news of their nods, since she was traveling to New York to attend the Billboard Women in Music Awards on Thursday (December 2).
“I had to turn my phone off last night when we were taking of to come to New York, so up until the last minute I was texting my castmembers like, ‘What’s going on?’ ” she told MTV News on the red carpet of the Billboard event, where she was honored as a Triple Threat. “And then when I landed, I had, like, four from all of them like, ‘We got nominated!’ ”

Glee’s Lea Michele: “Fans Are Pissed” Over Finn and Rachel Split
After Tuesday night’s episode of the quirky FOX comedy brought an end to fan-favorite couple Rachel and Finn (portrayed by Michele and Cory Monteith) the star, 24, has had some explaining to do.
“Fans are pissed!” she told UsMagazine.com Thursday as she was honored at Billboard’s Fifth Annual Women in Music event. “I went up to [creator] Ryan [Murphy] and said, ‘How could you do this?!’ But I think if they’re meant to be together, they will.”

Katie Couric Confirmed to Guest Star on ‘Glee’
Katie Couric is the latest guest-star on Fox’s Glee, her rep confirms to The Hollywood Reporter.
Fox declined to comment on her specific role, but the New York Post reported she’ll appear in a scene with cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) on the post-Super Bowl episode, which airs Feb. 6. Couric was a high-school cheerleader.
Couric, who will be the keynote speaker at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment event, will interview Matthew Morrison (who plays glee club director Mr. Schuester) on CBS Sunday Morning this weekend. She has said her daughters are fans of the show.

Glee Records a Black Eyed Peas Song, but Will Fergie Guest Star?
According to Lea Michele, the cast of Fox’s hit musical comedy has added a Black Eyed Peas hip-hop track to their lineup of songs for the back half of season two, telling us, “We’re doing [a] Black Eyed Peas song right now! We’ve been begging [executive producer] Ryan [Murphy] for such a long time to do one of their songs, and we finally just got one!”
