Skylar Laine to Perform at Graceland’s Annual Lighting Ceremony – Elvis Presley’s Graceland in Memphis will officially begin the holiday season with its annual lighting ceremony on Friday, November 16. Season 11’s Skylar Laine will “flip the switch” and officially light the Graceland property and kick off the holiday festivities. Skylar will also perform a few songs, including some holiday favorites. The extensive Christmas display includes hundreds of blue lights along the driveway, a life-size Nativity scene, Santa and his sleigh, and much more, all originally displayed at Graceland by Elvis and the Presley family. Paul McDonald, Huntsville native and ‘American Idol’ alum, joining Scotty McCreery at Von Braun Center show – HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — Last seen in a September episode of the NBC TV series “Parenthood,” Huntsville High grad and “American Idol” alum Paul McDonald has been added to a Dec. 13 bill headlined by another “Idol” vet, Scotty McCreery. McDonald, a scratchy-voiced singer/songwriter, now resides in Los Angeles. He and his actress wife Nikki Reed have a duet on the “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2” soundtrack called “All I’ve Ever Needed.” The album also contains songs from the likes of Green Day, Passion Pit and Ellie Goulding and will be released Nov. 13, three days before the film. Justin Guarini, Jill Paice, Lauren Molina and More Join It’s A Wonderful Life at Bucks County Playhouse – Justin Guarini, Jill Paice and Lauren Molina have all signed onto celebrate the holidays in It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play at Pennsylvania’s Bucks County Playhouse. Gordon Greenberg directs the holiday production, which runs from December 13 through December 30. Guarini will play Jake, with Paice taking on the role of Sally and Molina playing Lana. Photos of Darren Criss, Dean Geyer and More Glee Stars Promoting Arts Education in LA – Numerous cast members of the hit FOX show Glee – including Broadway veteran Darren Criss and hot young newcomer Dean Geyer – helped out the Young Storytellers Foundation in a special evening aimed at reinforcing arts education in LA public schools. Dubbed The Big Show, the event occurred at Willows Community School in Culver City, California on Saturday, October 20 and involved the stars performing short screenplays written by public school students. In addition to Criss and Geyer, Glee participants included Max Adler, Dot Marie Jones, Kevin McHale, Naya Rivera, Iqbal Theba, and Becca Tobin. Simon Cowell wants Carmen Electra for ‘America’s Got Talent’ – Simon Cowell is lobbying for Carmen Electra to join the judges’ table at “America’s Got Talent,” The Post has learned. “He wanted to add her last year [as a fourth judge] but the network said, ‘no’,” a show source says. Last winter, Cowell told the Post he planned to expand the panel by adding “somebody younger. A girl.
