CMT To Premiere Eight New Videos For CMT Big New Music Weekend (Including Casey James)
CMT will world premiere eight brand new music videos this weekend as part of its fifth CMT BIG NEW MUSIC WEEKEND, which kicks off FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14th at 6a (ET) and continues through music hours all weekend long. Premiering exclusively on CMT are new videos for ZAC BROWN BAND’s “Keep In Mind, ” LUKE BRYAN’s “If You Ain’t Here To Party, ” TONY BENNETT and FAITH HILL’s duet of “The Way You Look Tonight, ” TOBY KEITH’s “Red SOLO Cup, ” CHRIS YOUNG’s “You, ” JUSTIN MOORE’s “Bait A Hook, ” KEVIN FOWLER’s “That Girl” and CASEY JAMES’ “Let’s Don’t Call It A Night.”
As the only videos featured throughout regularly scheduled music hours, the eight BIG NEW MUSIC WEEKEND artists will get over 12 hours of air-play, along with an opportunity to personally introduce their video to fans each time it airs. Sunny skies and a show of force yesterday marked the city’s annual Columbus Day Parade, where a true daughter of New York took center stage.
Before she was an “American Idol” favorite, Pia Toscano was a Howard Beach girl nurturing a dream of singing stardom.
After a season of being spotlighted on “Idol” and signing a recording contract, she was still humbled to perform on a city street corner before a raucous crowd of Columbus Day revelers.

Lauren Alaina will appear on “Good Morning America” this morning in support of her new album, Wildflower. Lauren will be performing her new single, “Georgia Peaches, ” a song that is very close to her heart.
“‘Georgia Peaches’ is one of my favorites on the album, just because of the fact that I am from Georgia, ” Lauren tells CountryMusicIsLove. “It talks about how young girls like to flirt and how we like to dance and hang out, and just have fun in the summertime.”

That Steven Tyler believes it’s only a matter of time until there is an Aerosmith movie. The “American Idol” judge tells Boston Common that he’s always felt his band was “magical” and that its story is made for the big screen. Perhaps Steven is hoping someone will option his autobiography “Does the Noise in my Head Bother You?” The Boston Bad Boy says the book is a candid look at his “non-normal” life. “When you’re a rock star you come to a city and you pillage and plunder and then you leave that night, and no one sees you again and they don’t really know the deeper part of what it takes, ” he said. “I got a chance to write about it in the book.”

All eyes may have been focused on Cher — who lived up to the hype by finally attending a taping of Dancing with the Stars Monday — but Chaz Bono wasn’t among those ogling the diva who was positioned next to David Arquette’s daughter.
In fact, Bono kept his attention off his family, including stepmother Mary Bono, who was also in the house. “When we’re dancing I try to just focus on [Lacey] and what we’re doing, ” said Bono, who performed a Rocky-themed paso doble with partner Lacey Schwimmer that earned a standing ovation from a teary-eyed Cher. ”It was great to have everyone here. It pumped me up. I know my mom was really proud of me and that was awesome. I’m glad that whatever we’re doing is touching people.

Jackie Evancho Is Robert Redford’s Daughter in ‘The Company You Keep’
Jackie Evancho, the runner up of the fifth season of “America’s Got Talent”, might soon make her debut in acting world. The 11-year-old Pennsylvania-born singer has joined Robert Redford and Shia LaBeouf in an upcoming political action thriller, “The Company You Keep”.
According to Variety, Evancho has been tapped to star as Redford’s daughter, who has just lost her mother and knows nothing about his father’s militant past. Also recently attached to the movie are Oscar-nominated stars Anna Kendrick and Terrence Howard, as well as Brendan Gleeson and Sam Elliott.
