Prior to Thursday’s “American Idols Live!” concert, I spoke with all 10 “Idols” about their summer tour. But the stuff that wasn’t about the tour seemed more compelling than the particulars of their stage show.

“It’s the 30th anniversary of A Capitol Fourth, so it’s cool to be a part of that. And they’ve asked me to sing the National Anthem, ” David told On The Red Carpet. “It’ll be fun just being there with Gladys Knight, and Reba McEntire, and Darius Rucker, and John Schneider. And then of course the huge fireworks display that they have.”
David went on to say he’s super excited about his new single Something ‘Bout Love.
