Easter service uplifts thousands – MURFREESBORO — Hands and voices were raised in worship Saturday at the Easter service hosted by World Outreach Church at MTSU’s Murphy Center, which holds more than 11,000 people. The WOC Praise and Worship Team sang and had people standing and clapping their hands. Former “American Idol” contestant Lauren Alaina performed a few songs as well. “I just about lost it,” Alaina said, “when I saw these kids singing and dancing.
