‘The Voice’s” Christina Grimmie tours Europe with her guitarist brother – South Jersey (along with the entire country) became familiar with Christina Grimmie after her run on Season 6 of NBC’s “The Voice,” where she finished third and gained nationwide notoriety along with a new single, “It Must Be Love.” While Christina’s career has been blossoming, there is one person who has quietly been making things happen, and that’s her guitar-playing tour manager Mark. He recently teamed with his sister and the two are going on tour from Monday to Feb. 25 throughout Europe, along with band members Bobby Plizak (drums) and Jonathan Lamarche (guitar). – Read more at Burlington County Times

Ryan Seacrest finds success on ‘Idol’ stage – LOS ANGELES | The biggest winner of “American Idol” isn’t Carrie Underwood or Kelly Clarkson. It’s host Ryan Seacrest. At least that’s how he feels. “It was my golden ticket,” the veteran broadcaster says. “Being able to host the show changed my life.” In addition to helping him launch a production company (and a series of product lines), “American Idol” gave the Atlanta native access to some of the biggest names in the business. Dick Clark took him under wing; Jennifer Lopez became a friend and collaborator. And the Kardashians? Singer Kohlton Pascal gives back his ‘American Idol’ ticket to Hollywood – SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Singer Kohlton Pascal, of Auburn, is among the select few handed the “American Idol” golden ticket, the invite to head to Hollywood for the TV show’s competition. Pascal’s July audition aired on Fox last week. Now, the 21-year-old singer has decided to skip Hollywood and instead play local clubs, record two albums and hit the road again. He said he’ll take the next year to mature some and handle a few personal problems.
“It definitely rocked me a little bit to have all that publicity at once,” said Pascal of the exposure from the “AI” audition. – Read more at Syracuse.com
