‘One World: Together at Home’ 79-Song Album Available Now on Streaming Services – Just three days after the “One World: Together at Home” online concert aired, a 79-song, four-hour-long album of the event is available from Global Citizen and Universal Music Group on the streaming services Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify and Tidal. The album features Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Elton John, Lizzo, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Hudson, Juanes, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Eddie Vedder and Stevie Wonder, among many more; the full lineup appears below. Associated proceeds from streaming of the “One World: Together at Home, The Album,” generated by the services, recording artists, record labels including those of UMG, Warner Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Big Machine Label Group and Ultra Music, as well as some other rightsholders, will be donated to Global Citizen in support of the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization, powered by the United Nations Foundation. American Idol’s Lauren Mascitti Releases God Made a Woman – Nashville-based singer-songwriter Lauren Mascitti has released her fan-favorite original song ““GOD MADE A WOMAN””. Performed live during American Idol’s Hollywood Week, the performance earned a standing ovation from all three Idol judges: Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan. “Thank you to all who watched me on American Idol, voted for me, and cheered me on,” says Mascitti. “The love and support from you all is unlike anything I have ever experienced. I will never stop writing and performing music. I know that the safest, most promising place for my future is in the Hands of God, so I’m trusting that this outcome is just part of the journey. Ryan Seacrest to give message at Walnut High’s virtual graduation – Senior activities may be on hold, but Walnut High students have something to look forward to: Radio and TV show host Ryan Seacrest will send a video message to them at their May 28 virtual recognition ceremony. The new coronavirus pandemic has closed all schools, including activities and graduation ceremonies. So to give his students a memorable experience during this crisis, Principal Ryan Maine called into Seacrest’s morning talk show on Friday, April 17 to ask if he would leave a message to Walnut High’s 588 graduating seniors, according to a Walnut Valley Unified news release. The “American Idol” host agreed and Maine aims to provide “hope and support” to the seniors who can’t walk up and grab their diplomas this year, Maine said in a statement. “Our seniors and their families have had May 28 circled on their calendar all year,” Maine said. – Read more at SGVTribune.com
