Couple meets on ‘The Voice’ after she’s cut and he makes it – After Lexington grad Kiersten Dawson and Texas native Jeremiah Miller parted ways after Dawson was eliminated from “The Voice” and Miller was selected to move on, they thought they’d never see each other again. “He lives in Texas, and I live in Ohio, and it was just kind of I think a courtesy that we said that (we would hang out again sometime),” Dawson said. But less than a month later, Miller flew to Ohio from his hometown of Fort Worth after weeks of texting, and the two started dating. ‘The Voice’ contestant proud to represent small town of Jensen Beach – Her online audition earned her a call to come out of an in-person audition, but she was cut after the first round. She tried again the next year, but the same thing happened. Her third time seemed like the charm.
