Fox Cancels ‘New Year’s Eve Toast & Roast 2022’ Due To OmicronKen Jeong and Joel McHale will not be ringing in the new year on Fox. The network has canceled its New Year’s Eve special – Fox’s New Year’s Eve Toast & Roast 2022 – as a result of the rising spread of the Omicron variant of Covid-19. “While we are confident in the health and safety protocols for Fox’s New Year’s Eve Toast & Roast 2022, the recent velocity of the spread of Omicron cases has made it impossible to produce a live special in Times Square that meets our standards.  We will not be moving forward with Fox’s New Year’s Eve Toast & Roast 2022 in New York.  The health and safety of our casts and crews has always been, and will continue to be, of the utmost importance,” a Fox spokesman said. – Read more at Deadline

Girl Named Tom reflects on ‘The Voice’ win, discusses future plans – The trio said the most challenging part of the process was selecting songs as the live shows progressed. Given the short turnaround time, finding time to rehearse and perfect a song as a group for the following week was difficult. “While we were rehearsing a song for Monday, we would be stressing about, if we get lucky enough to move on, what would we sing? Because as soon as Tuesday night happens, you’re rehearsing, and some days we’d be rehearsing out next week’s song Tuesday as we’re waiting to sing that night,” said Caleb. – Watch the video at nbc24.com
