HDD – Album Sales Prediction : May 12-18

With 52.67% of reports in, Michael Jackson is still making sure that his family is living the kind of life they think they deserve. RIP Michael.

The Black Keys will likely debut in second this week, but they are keeping it close. “Turn Blue” would be their first album top charter if they succeed in capturing number 1. Their last album opened with 206K and went on to sell 1.4M.

Now 50 is in third for its second week. The deluxe version features Idols Carly Rae Jepsen and Kelly Clarkson. Now 49 is also still on the chart at 26th and contains a track from One Direction. Rascal Flatts is debuting 4th and Frozen has been pushed way down to 5th (perhaps fans are finally letting it go). Chromeo is an Electro-Funk duo out of Montreal and they are currently debuting in 6th followed by Country’s Dolly Parton. Hunter Hayes surges up to 8th, Tori Amos debuts at 9th and Luke is always hanging around at 10th.

No reality singing competitor albums in the mix this week, but we have Keith (12th), Pharrell (13th) and Blake (28th) representing the judges.
