Entertainment Weekly reports that the British band, Coldplay, will perform during the May 3 results show (Fox, 8 p.m.). No deets on what song the band will play, but it will likely by a song from their latest album, Mylo Xyloto.
Hopefully, the kids won’t be singing “Viva La Vida” as a group number to celebrate. Just say no to Coldplay songs, Idol contestants. (I’m looking at you, Matt Giraud.)
