UPDATE: Daughtry on this morning’s VH1 Morning Buzz

Chris announces that he’ll be joining Save the Music as an ambassador, along with Katy Perry, Matthew Morrison, Lupe Fiasco, Gavin Rossdale, Jordin Sparks, Vanessa Carlton and A.J. McLean.

Daughtry dropped by the Today Show this morning to promote his upcoming album, Break the Spell, dropping on November 21.

The band performed their single “Crawling Back to You” after a short interview. Chris talked about being able to approach the record fresh after taking a break, and his twins who are almost a year old.

In an incredible turn around, the St. Louis Cardinals took game Six of the World Series Thursday night. The Texas Rangers almost had it wrapped up, but it wasn’t meant to be.

That means there is going to be a game seven Friday night and singing the national anthem will be…Chris Daughtry!

Game 7 will be at St. Louis, beginning at 7:30 PM EDT on FOX.
