I’ve got some pre-Idol music from a couple of Austin American Idol hopefuls here!
Casey Abrams (Audition) appears to be the break-out star of last night. Make sure to watch the cleverly edited “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”. Plus, Casey performs with a group from his high school–the Idylwilde Arts Academy. The melodica-playing hopeful also studied music at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Janelle Arthur (Audition) looks really comfortable up on stage, and has played some big venues, including casinos. She’s also a songwriter. Check out her original tune, “You Taught Me Well”.
