Drew Wright is eliminated tonight…
Drew Wright is the kind of Idol contestant that does really well on American Idol. He started off as a dark horse, but steadily improved his performances and his look as the competition progressed. And he seemed to have his hometown behind him. Honestly, I thought he could take it all.
The regional voting thing must be really powerful, because Mitch MacDonald has advanced, despite not changing up his performances or his look. He’s been the same week in and week out. And that “same” has consisted mostly of off-key performances of songs that don’t suit him. WTF?
But what do I know? I really need to STFU now, because I fail miserably at predicting who’s going home on this show. I’ll just say, if I could vote, I’d vote for Theo. I hope he wins.
