Bucky Covington – A Father’s Love
The song is a cut on his upcoming sophomore album I’m Alright, due out this fall.
“When I first heard the song, it just hit me in my soft spot, ” says Bucky, of the tune, written by Liz Hengber, Thom Shepherd, Steve Williams. “When I was young my parents got a divorce so I had two sets of parents. Neither dad was real huggy but it was understood that they loved us.”
Aw. It’s a real tear jerker. Bucky’s been working on this album for awhile. Hopefully, he won’t suffer a major sophomore slump when the album finally appears.
