Big Brother 16 Live Feeds Spoilers (Week 1 Veto Ceremony)

Today the Veto Ceremony was held inside the Big Brother house. Find out the details here.

To recap the week so far, Frankie and Caleb won their respective HoH competitions. Frankie nominated Brittany and Victoria, whereas Caleb nominated Donny and Paola. Brittany and Victoria won the Battle of the Block. Therefore, Caleb is the sole HoH for the week and his nominees remain intact. At the Veto competition, Donny won the Power of Veto.

Today at the Veto Ceremony, Donny used the Power of Veto on himself. Caleb named Joey as the replacement nominee.

At the moment, it seems like Joey will be the first houseguest evicted from the Big Brother house this season. There was already discussion about backdooring Joey before Donny (the original target) won the Veto. In addition, Joey made matters worse for herself by assuming Caleb will do what the house wants instead of what was best for his game. Joey had held a meeting telling everyone to inform Caleb who they think should be the replacement nominee after Donny won the Veto. As well, Joey told Devin straight to his face that she wanted him to be the one evicted on Thursday since she believed that was what most of the house wanted too. There are a few houseguests besides Joey who did want Devin evicted (such as Brittany), but Caleb is the HoH and he does not want to get rid of Devin, a member of the Bomb Squad alliance. As mentioned in an earlier post, the Bomb Squad consists of Amber, Caleb, Cody, Christine, Derrick, Devin, Frankie, and Zach. However, there are already cracks in the alliance and I highly doubt the eight of them will stay together for long.

It’s too bad that the first member of Team America will be the first houseguest evicted from the game. It’s almost reminiscent of season 12 when the Saboteur was evicted first. I wonder how the Team America twist will work now that its first member will leaving the house on Thursday. Of course things can always change and Paola can be the one evicted instead (although very unlikely), so we’ll have to wait until the eviction episode to see who will be the first houseguest evicted from Big Brother 16.
