Nigel Lythgoe announced on twitter that the new season of So You Think You Can Dance will have two winners: A Top Guy and Top Girl. Each finalist will have a number. Fans will vote for individuals (instead of pairs).

Scotty McCreery to Appear on American Idol Tuesday and Wednesday

This is a Joshua Ledet media roundup. But it’s going to be limited today. As a 3rd place American Idol finisher, Joshua will skip much of the typical media stops this week to get ready for next week’s finale. He’ll go along with the Top 2 to New York post-finale, but the poor guy, by virtue of where he placed, will miss some media stops.

American Idol: Phillip Phillips “Needs Surgery Now” (Report)

According to TMZ, Doctors are urging American Idol Final 2 contestant, Phillip Phillips to get surgery NOW to treat a chronic kidney stone ailment that has been plaguing him all season. Phil, according to sources, is determined to work through the pain and will probably go under the knife immediately after the finale.

The recovery time is 6 weeks, meaning he will likely miss the beginning of the American Idols Live tour. That matches up to what Phil’s dad told some fans over the weekend during the Idol star’s hometown visit.

Teen Choice 2012: First Wave of Nominees Announced

Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Chris Colfer, Lea Michele are nominated in Television categories.

Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Kellie Pickler, Jennifer Lopez, Maroon 5, Cee Lo Green are nominated in music categories.
