America’s Got Talent Alum Skilyar Hicks Arrested for Battery (VIDEOS PHOTOS)

Former America’s Got Talent contestant and Evans Georgia teen, Skilyar Hicks was charged with several counts of simple battery, after police say was involved in a physical altercation while drunk. From the Columbia County Times.

Police said the victims, who live at the residence in the 900 block of Deercrest Circle in Evans, told them that Skilyar Hicks, 18, was brought back to the residence after midnight by an unknown male. Hicks was passed out drunk when the man brought her to the residence and the victims had to physically move Hicks to the garage, as she was too intoxicated to be taken to her bedroom, according to the incident report.

Hours later, the witnesses told police, Hicks awoke and came into the house extremely angry and yelling. One of them told Hicks to stop yelling and to leave the residence. Hicks then began cursing at that person and pushed her into another person, who then engaged in a physical altercation with Hicks in an attempt to restrain her, the report said.

A third person became involved after Hicks was able to grasp the hair of another person, while scratching and hitting her, the report said. When Hicks got back on her feet, she again went toward the first person and pushed her hard with both hands, causing her to fall into a small chest of drawers, leaving injuries on her back, the report said.

Hicks then ap­proach­ed the second person in an attempt to hit her, but that person told police she slapped Hicks in the left eye and wrestled her to the floor. Two others were finally able to restrain Hicks until she could calm down before calling police. Hicks then got up and locked herself in her bedroom.

Police stated that upon arrival, Hicks was disoriented and was unable to recollect the events, only saying that one of the victims had punched her. Hicks was able to provide a breath sample for police, which registered .126.

Hicks was determined to be the primary aggressor and was charged with three counts of simple assault – family battery and was booked into the Columbia County Detention Center.
