American Idol season 14 winner Nick Fradiani has just dropped a new song “Your Eyes” featuring the Bridgeport, Conn. band, Alternate Routes. Nick wrote the song with band members Eric Donnelly and Tim Warren, whom he thanks in a social media post.
“This song is a special one,” Nick writes on Instagram. “And it was an honor to be able to write this song with Tim and Eric. I’ve looked up to their band for years, and it’s cool to be able to put a song out with them. We’re all excited to share this with you.”

The tune is an emotional ballad that has a bit of a country feel Nick sings the lead vocal, backed by piano and a mournful slide guitar.
