Fox got over the Wednesday hump in typically winning fashion care of American Idol, which led the night with 22.43 million viewers and a 7.8 rating/20 share among adults 18-49 from 8-9 p.m. So long, Scott!
- Last Wednesday: 23.71 million viewers and a 8.1/21 rating/share among adults 18-49
- Last year’s results show was on a Thursday, due to Idol Gives Back airing the night before: 20.1 million viewers and a 7.0/19 rating/share among adults 18-49
Wednesday’s numbers are a little higher than Tuesday’s: 21.99 million viewers and a 7.8 rating/22 share among adults 18-49 from 8-9 p.m.
