Richard Rushfield of the LA Times attended the American Idol Season 9 in Los Angeles Tuesday, where 11, 000 hopefuls lined up at the Rosebowl in Pasadena for their shot at competing on the next Idol.
He interviewed kids as they walked out of the auditions, both the losers, and the lucky few who snagged a golden ticket to the next step–auditioning in front of the producers for a chance to sing in front of the judges. The second and third rounds will take place in July and August…
