American Idol’s Lauren Alaina Tearfully Accepts CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year Watch (FULL Performance of Road Less Traveled)

When Lauren Alaina won Breakthrough Video of the Year at Wednesday’s CMT Music Awards, she could barely contain her emotions. “I’m not good at this! I don’t know what to do,” the American Idol season 10 runner-up declared. And Lauren was completely starstruck when handed the award. “Reba McEntire just gave me an award, so that’s pretty crazy,” she said.

After running through a few thank yous, in which she acknowledged her fans and the artists who have inspired her, Lauren gushed, “I’m so nervous. I don’t get nervous. I can always talk!”

The she remembered: “Jesus,” she pointed heavenward. “I should have said that first…sorry God!” Watch Lauren Alaina’s sweet acceptance speech here.

A little later in the show, Lauren performed her hit single “Road Less Traveled” as the program went out to commercial. Sorry, the performance is only about 40 seconds long.
