American Idol – Jax Sings National Anthem at Indy (VIDEO)

Jax may have missed out on some media opportunities landing in 3rd place on American Idol 14, but the singer did have the opportunity to participate in a cool event.

Idol mentor and Big Machine Label Group CEO, Scott Borchetta, brought Jax to Indianapolis on Friday to sing the National Anthem at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway ahead of a the Coors Light Carb day events. (ETA: Not Nascar, as Jax initially tweeted).

She got to meet a few drivers, ride shotgun in a race car, and met country singer, Reba McEntire. Oddly, I can’t find a full clip of her anthem anywhere, but I do have a 30 second snip, plus a ton of mini-videos and photos taken for the day. Every the social media maven, Jax documented it all on twitter!

It starts with the anthem, and goes chronologically, more or less, from there.
