In this American Idol 14 preview from the Kansas City MO judges round auditions, there’re a blue haired girl who plays accordion, a dude with dreads, and a guy who wants to smell Jlo.
Casey Thrasher, a Top 30 contestant from last year, is featured prominently in the promo. The producers may be serious about bringing him back. “They say it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity,” says Casey. “If it became a twice in a lifetime opportunity, that would be just unbelievable.”
Judge, Harry Connick Jr, believes the bus tour creates new opportunities for Idol. “I believe it brings a wider breadth of talent.” he says.
