By the end of today, according to Idol producers at yesterday’s TCA panel, the Top 40 will be cut down to 20. Look out for those spoilers–I’ll be posting them as soon as they are available (Sorry Nigel! I gives the peoples what they want!)

Casey Abrams – Casey has a nice, bluesy voice. He’s pretty good on the bass too; maybe he can bust that out in a performance heh. I’m not sure what kind of music he would be doing on the show though. His look is not too polished, but I could see some kind of “transformation” on the show i.e. he shaves his beard.
