In 15 days (April 21), “Ghost Town” the next single from Adam Lambert’s forthcoming album, The Original High, will drop. The album is expected this summer.
To mark the 15 day countdown, the pop singer, and American Idol alum, has posted another audio tease, this time with vocals! Click to check out the first clip, which features the tune’s haunting melody.
“I wanted something more internal and more grounded. A little less with the theatrical and the camp and the presentation.,” Adam said to Billboard magazine about the new direction his music is taking. “I wanted to bring it in a bit more. Being on the road with a British rock band, and being in London a lot this year, rehearsing with them and doing TV gigs, I think that has affected my sound and where we are headed with it.”
I think the potential is worldwide superstar, said Warner Brothers CEO, Cameron Stang, upon signing Adam. “He has fans all over the world. He’s he’s got one of the great voices and he’s coming into his own as a person and as a man. He more comfortable with himself and his artistic vision of himself and I think there’s a confidence and a freedom that comes with having made more than one record.”
