Queen + Adam Lambert kicked off their European tour May 20 at Rock In Rio Lisbon. “We had this opportunity to work with Adam, Queen guitarist Brian May said in part 3 of the interview, “And if we didn’t have Adam, I don’t think Roger [Taylor] and I would be doing this. I think it’s probably the truth.”
“We have a chance to interpret the cannon,” Brian continued. “People want it and we can do it and it’s still fun. I don’t know how long we’ll have this opportunity to work with Adam…he has things to do! We have this window of opportunity and I think it’s wonderful to got out and make some people happy.”
