The American Idol season 12 finale is shaping up to be an all-star alumni extravaganza, as Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, a finalist from season three, and season eight runner-up Adam Lambert have both been approached to perform, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter. Neither has committed to the May 16 event yet.
There’s no confirmation yet that Cher will appear to sing with Lazaro Arbos, as he suggested in his Idol exit interview.
According to reports, ex-judge, Jennifer Lopez is set to return to the Idol stage for the finale.
