The ABC television network renewed a slew of shows yesterday, including Dancing with The Stars, and The Bachelor.
Nashville has been left on the bubble. After four seasons, there are plenty of episodes for syndication and the ratings have remained low all season. For the record, the TV ratings Grim Reaper who tends to have a clear eyed view of these things predicts a likely cancellation for the music city musical drama.
Also awaiting renewal are Castle, Galavant, American Crime, Last Man Standing and freshman series the underperforming The Muppets and Dr. Ken. It’s too early to tell for new series, Real O’Neals and The Family and yet to premiere The Catch, Of Kings and Prophets and Uncle Buck.
Now in fourth place, ABC Entertainment group just parted ways with network chief Paul Lee. With ABC drama executive, Channing Dungey tapped to take his place, expect big changes at the Disney owned network.
