Jennifer Hudson Nominated for a Golden Globe
Golden Globe nominations were announced today. As expected, Jennifer Hudson was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Effie White in the upcoming movie, “Dreamgirls”
The nominations and awards have been coming fast and furious: Jennifer was recently named Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Dreamgirls” by the New York Film Critics Circle. And, she was recently named runner up for the Los Angeles Critics Association’s Supporting Actress prize and received the Best Breakthrough Performance honor from the National Board of Review. Additionally, she was named Best Supporting Actress by the Washington D.C. Society of Film Critics.
Check out Jennifer on the Today show this morning–Matt Lauer interviewed her, and afterward she performed a “I Am Changing” from “Dreamgirls”.
The film opens in New York and Los Angeles tomorrow, and then opens wide on Christmas Day.
