‘X Factor’ finalists, One Direction and JLS in charity video: Pictures
The 16 X Factor finalists were recently reunited to film the video for this year’s official charity single.

The singers will be joined by show alumni JLS and One Direction for the cover of Rose Royce’s ‘Wishing On A Star’, which will be released digitally on November 27 and on physical CD the following day.

All profits from the release will go to charity Together For Short Lives, with whom Simon Cowell has worked for many years. He commented: “Having worked close hand with this charity and seeing the amazing work they do for kids and their families who need help and support, I am thrilled that the X Factor charity single this year will benefit this charity.”

Barbara Gelb, CEO of Together For Short Lives, added: “We are delighted to be the beneficiary of this year’s X Factor charity single. The money raised from this single gives us the opportunity to improve the lives of these children and families – and crucially raise awareness of the valuable support they need, wherever they live and for as long as they need it.
